Merrilands Community Centre offers an extensive range of rooms and facilities for hire.  It is an ideal venue for community functions and events, conferences, meetings, training sessions, playgroups, support groups and more.

Facilities and rooms available include:

• Function Hall with capacity for 150 people
• 3 Multi-Purpose rooms w ith TV, video/dvd, projector and whiteboards. Capacity 20 people per room
• Shared office space for regular or  long-term bookings
• Art Studio space
• Community House, suitable for playgroups and support groups
• Multi-Purpose sports stadium
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Undercover Bocce courts
• Ample off street parking
• Chairs and tables
• Heating/cooling

Room Hire Rates

Merrilands offers a competitive schedule of hire rates with special rates for Community Groups and not-for-profit organisations.

* All premises are smoke free.  Public liability insurance required.

Time restrictions apply. Some restrictions on functions also apply.

PRACE and Merrilands Community Centre

In July 2003 PRACE took over the management of Merrilands Community Centre from the City of Darebin.

As a leader of Adult Community Education in Darebin for over ten years, PRACE brings a strong commitment to supporting the local community both through education and by working with groups to strengthen their relationships within Darebin.
