Young People at PRACEThe people in the Youth Program at PRACE are all people who have been unable to access mainstream education. With unemployment rates over 10% in Darebin, it is vital that the community provide them with some hope of a future. Over the years, the youth program at PRACE has developed into an amazing success, thanks to the remarkable skills of Jules de Cinque and her team of supportive and engaging teachers. Jules was Highly Commended for Outstanding Tutor of the Year, in 2002 - nominated by the learners in her class. In 2005, Darren Grainger carried on the terrific program set up by Jules. In 2006, Sarah Hurren and Libby Barker are overseeing the transition to VCAL. Through Youth Pathways Program (YPP) funding in 2003 PRACE delivered the Youth Skills Program for the full year at 20 hours per week with up to 16 young people attending at anyone time.
