2018: What a Year!

Posted December 12, 2018

As another year comes to a close
we reflect on some of the great things that have happened at PRACE in 2018.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS.
  • Construction of the Community Workspace which will provide a fit-for-purpose space for trade-related programs and community activity.
  • The community mural. It is a showstopper.
  • Extensive renovations in the front building which will benefit the whole Merrilands community.
  • The Walktober campaign which saw our students get fitter and Assunta come out with the top prize!
  • Reservoir Italian Pensioners Club Annual Bocce Competition–always competitive and always a lot of fun.
  • PRACE College students served over 1800 cups of coffee from the PRACE canteen & raised over $5000 for Sam Johnson’s Love Your Sister Foundation. An amazing effort!!
  • Our volunteers contributed over 5,000 hours of work. Thank you for your continuing generosity and dedication.
  • We delivered over 45 courses to 607 students.
  • A number of our students gained employment when they finished their course with us. 33 students got jobs in our Education Support course alone.

2019 promises more great programs and community activity.
From all the staff at PRACE have a safe and happy holiday break.
We look forward to seeing you in the new year.
