Our End-of- Term Morning Tea was made even more festive with staff from the Department of Justice and Regulation delivering over 50 bicycles for donation to PRACE students just in time for the school holidays. Department of Justice and Regulation staff members Kiera and Bianca spoke about the program in which bikes are restored by people serving community correction orders as part of their community work requirements.
The bicycles were presented to PRACE students directly following the morning tea. No doubt many of our students’ children will be elated to start their school holidays with wonderful new bikes!
PRACE staff and students extend our thanks to the Department of Justice and Regulation and correction program participants for this generous donation; our students and their children now have a reliable and highly economical way to travel to school.
