Ghazal Awarded ALW Scholarship!

We are proud to announce that PRACE student Ghazal, has been awarded an Adult Learners’ Week 2020 scholarship! 

Ghazal is an amazing young woman who has dealt with a lot of adversity. She has an incredible sense of humour and shows kindness to everyone around her. She has the ability to keep going and set herself a good realistic pathway into meaningful work and future.

When Ghazal joined PRACE’s Certificate III in English as an Additional Language (EAL), it was like she was just awakening. She was finally ready to learn and ever since she has really applied herself. 

Ghazal’s dream is to work towards a career where she can help people. She is currently studying hard to improve her English by completing her EAL Certificate III at PRACE. Her vision is to complete a Certificate III in Pathology, work in the field, save money and eventually study nursing.

In response to the win, Ghazal would like to share this statement with you.

“I feel very lucky that I came to PRACE and met experienced teachers and staff that always welcomed me with a smile. Everyday when I go to school and see all the happy faces, I feel the warmth of PRACE and this motivated me to further pursue my learning journey. Studying in this safe and supportive environment continues to inspire me and allows me to be closer to achieving my goals.”
