Basic understanding of bookkeeping an advantage.

Access to a laptop or PC and internet connection at home.

Course Description: A short course for those who want to learn how to use a computer-based accounting system (MYOB) to perform basic bookkeeping procedures. Content will cover:

    • customising a company file
    • processing sales / purchases
    • processing cash transactions
    • generating reports
    • preparing bank reconciliations
    • generating a BAS (Business Activity Statement)

Note: program focuses on PC compatible machines

Pathway: Work / volunteering or home-based businesses requiring basic bookkeeping / MYOB skills. Further study: qualifications within the Financial and Business Services Training Packages.

Term 2, 2021 Merrilands Community Centre—Computer Room

Mode of Study Teacher supported learning in a remote classroom using Zoom and Google sites and computer lab.
