The course will cover:

  • Using computer hardware
  • Understanding software types
  • Using basic Windows 10 commands
  • Using Microsoft Word 2016 (entering data, formatting, saving & filing)
  • Introduction to internet and email

Note: Program designed for PC compatible machines

Pathway: Certificate I/II in Information, Digital Media and Technology. Work or volunteer opportunities requiring basic computer skills

Course Description: This program will build skill and confidence in the use of essential Microsoft Office 2019 programs (Level 1) for personal, work and study purposes running on Windows 10 operating system.

The course will cover:

  • An extension to basic word processing
  • Introduction to MS PowerPoint 2019
  • Introduction to MS Excel 2019

Note: program designed for PC compatible computers

Pathway: Potential to use skills for work/volunteer opportunities or pathway into accredited study (e.g. Certificate I/II in Information, Digital Media and Technology)
