Entry Requirements Sound computer skills

Basic understanding of bookkeeping an advantage

Citizen or permanent resident of Australia

Course Description: A short course for those who want to learn how to use a computer-based accounting system (MYOB) to perform basic bookkeeping procedures.

Content will cover:

  • customising a company file
  • processing sales/purchases
  • processing cash transactions
  • generating reports
  • preparing bank reconciliations
  • generating a BAS (Business Activity Statement)

Note: program focuses on PC compatible machines

Pathway: Work/volunteering or home-based businesses requiring basic bookkeeping/MYOB skills.

Entry Requirements Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, 18+, intermediate reading & comprehension, full probationary driving license, physically fit, motivated. Desirable: Safety awareness.
Course Description: Gain relevant employability skills required for success as a labourer in the civil construction industry. This course has been codesigned with industry and will provide an overview of roles and career pathways within the industry.
Pathway: Strong chance of an employment outcome in the Civil Construction Industry or further training – Cert II in Civil Construction
