Course Description: A short course for those who want to learn how to use a computer-based accounting system (MYOB) to perform basic bookkeeping procedures.

Content will cover:

  • customising a company file
  • processing sales/purchases
  • processing cash transactions
  • generating reports
  • preparing bank reconciliations
  • generating a BAS (Business Activity Statement)

Note: program focuses on PC compatible machines

Pathway: Work/volunteering or home-based businesses requiring basic bookkeeping/MYOB skills.

No experience necessary as you will gain the skills that will
prepare you to hit the ground running to fill the labour shortage
currently advertised in the hospitality industry.

• Workplace communication and conflict resolution
• Resume and interview preparation to help you secure that
