As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Prace is committed to supporting our vibrant and diverse community of students, staff, volunteers and community groups. Over the last two years of the pandemic, we have learn a lot about how you learn best and how we can support you in your studies. As restrictions ease further, our courses, programs and services are moving towards face-to-face delivery. However, we will retain a mix of delivery modes to best meet the needs of our community.

We are excited to welcome Prace College students onsite for Term 1 at our Reservoir and Mernda campuses. We are now taking 2022 enrolments and more information about VCAL at Prace College is available here.

The Prace office and classrooms at Merrilands Community Centre are open to staff and students. The reception team is available from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday by phone 9462 6077 or email office@prace.vic.edu.au
Merrilands Community Centre is now hosting community groups and casual venue hirers in line with current restrictions. Venue hirers and guests must be fully vaccinated.

There are many ways you can support our plan and help keep Prace COVIDSafe.
Face masks are not required at Prace however you may wear one in class. Household close contacts are required to wear a mask whenever they leave home. This includes visiting or attending a class at Prace.
Face masks are still required when travelling on public transport, including to and from Prace. Information about face masks can be found here.
If you are considered a household close contact with someone who has COVID-19 i.e. you have spent more than four hours with someone who has COVID-19 inside a house, accommodation or care facility you must:
The State Government has created a checklist for COVID-19 contacts; with detailed information on what to do if you are exposed to COVID-19.
If you are feeling unwell, DO NOT attend Prace – instead, stay home, seek medical advice and consider getting a COVID-19 test. COVID-19 symptoms are listed on the Victoria Government Department of Health website.
As an operator of a neighbourhood house and an educational facility which includes a registered school, Prace is required to comply with the directive of the Victorian Chief Health Officer which means that all Prace staff who work onsite must be fully vaccinated.
Students are not required to be vaccinated to attend classes at Prace.
We understand the ongoing pandemic is extremely challenging for many members of our community. We encourage students, staff, volunteers and community members to reach out if they need support. Students are encouraged to speak with their teacher or call the office on 9462 6077. Our office is open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
