As we welcome staff and students back to Prace in 2022, we will continue to adhere to our rigorous COVIDSafe practices and protocols. To help keep Prace COVIDSafe, we are taking steps to provide:
- Easy access to hand hygiene
- Regular surface cleaning
- Regular cleaning and disinfection
- Outdoor air ventilation in rooms with windows
- Air conditioning units utilising fresh air not recirculated air
Our COVIDSafe plan is continually updated in accordance with any changes to restrictions in Victoria.
There are many ways you can support our plan and help keep Prace COVIDSafe.
Face masks are not required at Prace however you may wear one in class. Household close contacts are required to wear a mask whenever they leave home. This includes visiting or attending a class at Prace.
Face masks are still required when travelling on public transport, including to and from Prace. Information about face masks can be found here.
If you are a household close contact
If you are considered a household close contact with someone who has COVID-19 i.e. you have spent more than four hours with someone who has COVID-19 inside a house, accommodation or care facility you must:
- Inform Prace that you are a household close contact
- Wear a fitted face mask when you are at Prace
- If you test positive on a rapid antigen test, you must report your result
The State Government has created a checklist for COVID-19 contacts; with detailed information on what to do if you are exposed to COVID-19.

If you are feeling unwell, DO NOT attend Prace – instead, stay home, seek medical advice and consider getting a COVID-19 test. COVID-19 symptoms are listed on the Victoria Government Department of Health website.
