“Thank you for organising the mock interview. It was a really helpful and well-organised program. I really enjoyed and learned a lot”.

What a wonderful turnout with 17 education support students participating in the workshop held at Shared Space Community Centre in Olivine.
This year the workshop was facilitated by 4 industry representatives; David Whewell (Plenty Parklands Primary School Principal); Anita Osavkovska (Findon Primary School Mill Park Principal); Pauline Kubat (former Principal at Epping Views Primary School; and Cyndy Tennent (Education Support Worker at Plenty Parklands Primary School).
This expert industry panel provided a unique skill development opportunity to assist our students to successfully win that interview. It’s opportunities such as these that have led to life changing experiences for past graduates since 2016.
Here’s what our student Grace had to say:
“I just wanted to let you know that the Mock interview experience was so beneficial. It was really informative and gave me a solid grounding of what to expect in an upcoming interview. The interview process was so different to what I’ve previously experienced in other fields, I was glad to have been given some insight into what to expect.
All the presenters were well spoken and conveyed exactly what prospective employers are looking for.
I did have a couple of interviews the following week and felt prepared and confident I knew what to expect and was able to include important topics that were brought up during the Mock Interview Day.
Consequently I was successful in my application and have secured a position for next year.”
