Course Description: An introduction to the basics of Australian Sign Language (Auslan) that will enable you to communicate with members of the Deaf Community in both social and work situations.

The course will cover:
• Learning to sign
• Greetings and introductions
• Basic conversation
• Develop practical Auslan skills – including counting and visual gestures

Pathway: This program prepares participants for employment, volunteering or further study, including the Certificate II in Auslan
