Out and About

On Tuesday 10^th September our Course in Initial EAL took the train to Reservoir Library. Students practised using Myki cards to touch on and off and then they stopped to view the renovations at Reservoir station, reading road and building signs along the way. They were taken on a tour of the Reservoir Library by librarian Jacinta, and shown English and bilingual books, DVDs and CDs. A few students took the opportunity to become library members and proudly showed off their cards. After the tour students headed across the road to further practice their language skills by ordering coffees and sandwiches. A fun day was had by all.
