Prace College is an independent school offering a supportive and inclusive alternative to mainstream education for young people aged 16-18.
About Prace College
Prace College offers a community education style learning environment as an alternative to mainstream education. We believe that all young people should be able to positively engage in education regardless of their life circumstances and barriers to learning. Many of the young people who attend Prace College, had previously left school or struggled within the mainstream education system.
Our program aims to improve the learning outcomes for young people and re-engage them not only with education, but also with society and their community.
Our philosophy is underpinned by a ‘strength based approach’, focusing on each learners’ areas of competency, capacity, insight and drive to improve their life circumstances.
Prace College has a campus in Mernda and Reservoir. We accept enrolments throughout the school year.

How to enrol
At Prace College, we accept enrolments throughout the year. This means our students can start attending school when they are ready, not just at the start of the year.
