Description:
A short course for people wishing to gain retail, customer service and sales skills in the retail sector.  Course content will include the fundamentals  of the following key areas:

  • Work Effectively in a Retail Environment
  • Apply Safe Work Practices
  • Interact with Customers/Communicate in the Work Place
  • Sell Products and Services
  • Create a display/Merchandising principles
  • Understand the role of a Mystery Shopper
  • Learn about the 7 Steps to Selling
Pathway:
  • Employment in the retail sector
  • Accredited pathways include Certificate II or III in Retail services
Location Thomastown Neighbourhood House
Mode of Study Classroom training, industry research  and excursions
Days Monday and Thursday
