English as an Additional Language (EAL) Manager Position at PRACE

  • Ongoing, full-time position
  • Adult Education Officer 6 Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres Workplace Agreement 2016
  • Salary range is paid above AEO Officer 6 – $71,136 to $79,040
  • PRACE offers a commercially commensurate salary through the provision of our salary packaging. Your net disposable income increases through the provision of this program.

 

PRACE is seeking an experienced and dedicated EAL program manager to take on the role of EAL Manager at PRACE. The position available encompasses management of programming; program design and content (CSWE or equivalent); human resources; student recruitment and participation; implementing funding contracts; and ensuring quality requirements, contract obligations and funding targets are met.

You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about helping students to change their lives through effective language, literacy and numeracy programs. The role requires a dedicated professional to enhance student outcomes.

PRACE is a not-for-profit education provider which over the last twenty years has continued to build a strong, vibrant community business, earning a reputation as a key local training provider in the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne. English as an Additional Language is a core program area.

You will need a teaching qualification as well as post graduate qualifications in TESOL along with experience in leadership and management. You will also be required to meet other key selection criteria as detailed in the Position Description.
