Seeking – Education Support Worker Coordinator

Prace College is seeking an experienced education support worker with previous leadership roles in schools.

You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about helping students to achieve their goals through education. The role requires a dedicated professional to provide impactful and adaptive classroom support, as well as to coordinate and lead our education support team. 

Responsibilities and duties will be across two campuses (Mernda and Reservoir):

  • Coordination, supervision and support of the education support team
  • Classroom support
  • Supervising and Assisting Students
  • Administration, record-keeping and reporting
  • Child safety

Prace College is an Independent Specialist School that provides supportive, flexible and inclusive education to meet the needs of at-risk young people, and supports them to re-engage with and participate in learning, community and work activities. We are a not-for-profit organisation.

Qualifications and experience

  • Certificate III in Education Support or similar, and experience in an education support role preferably with students aged 15-18 
  • Minimum 3 years in an education support role 
  • Experience leading a team
