Seeking- Education Support Worker

Prace College is seeking an experienced & dedicated Education Support Worker to work across two campuses – Reservoir and Mernda

You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about helping students to achieve their goals through education. The role requires dedicated professionals to maximise student engagement and learning outcomes.

Prace College provides supportive, flexible and inclusive education to meet the needs of young people within the community, and supports them to participate in learning, community and work activities. We are a not-for-profit organisation. 

The students at Prace College have exited mainstream education and most are dealing with complex and significant issues. Prace College offers a caring and supportive environment so that the students have an opportunity to succeed.

Qualifications and experience

  • Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent.
  • First aid (desirable)

Selection Criteria

  • Capacity to undertake education support tasks across a range of functions within a school environment and the capacity to provide support and/or attendant care to students where necessary.
  • Demonstrated capacity to be an effective team member and to work cooperatively with a range of people including teachers, education support staff, coordinators and students
  • Demonstrated proficiency in administrative skills, including the use of office systems, software or technical equipment as relevant to the position.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a small team and within an organisation’s philosophy and values.
