Reconnect are currently recruiting for a new Case Worker to join the team.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Skills First Reconnect Program, funded by the Victorian Government’s Department of Education, provides those aged 17-64 with access to the wrap-around services they need to be able to re-engage and succeed in further education and training. The scheme is designed to help under-employed youth, retrenched workers, out-of-trade apprentices and people looking for work longer than twelve months transition back into education. We know that early school leavers in particular often face multiple barriers in remaining in training and transitioning to the workforce, and are at risk of remaining disengaged unless they can access targeted services that successfully support them back into education, training or employment. It will be the responsibility of the Reconnect Case Worker to support high-needs learners to enter education and training programs.
QUALIFICATION/S OR RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Tertiary qualifications in the community, employment, welfare and/or education sectors with subsequent relevant experience.
CONDITIONS:

Police Check (mandatory)
Working with Children’s Check (mandatory)
Certificate in First Aid (desirable)
