Sessional Trainer Position
PRACE is a not-for-profit adult education provider and charity situated in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
We are currently seeking applications for the following position for 2017 delivery:
- Sessional trainer: Disability (Theatre Production)
- 1 day per week (Wednesday) – 9.30am to 2.30pm
- Commencing 2017 (Fixed Term May- December)
Essential:
- Industry qualifications in Special Education or relevant literacy qualification
- Theatre production experience
- Experience teaching people with an intellectual disability
- Experience teaching flexible and inclusive curriculum that meets a range of student learning styles and needs
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex administrative systems and meet deadlines
Desirable:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent
- Experience working in a community setting
- Certificate in First Aid
- Theatre production qualification
Conditions include:
- Police Check (mandatory)
- Working with Children’s Check (mandatory)
- 3 month probation
- Salary Packaging available
