Sessional Trainer Position

PRACE is a not-for-profit adult education provider and charity situated in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

We are currently seeking applications for the following position for 2017 delivery:

• Sessional trainer: Disability (Theatre Production)
• 1 day per week (Wednesday) – 9.30am to 2.30pm
• Commencing 2017 (Fixed Term May- December)

Essential:

• Industry qualifications in Special Education or relevant literacy qualification
• Theatre production experience
• Experience teaching people with an intellectual disability
• Experience teaching flexible and inclusive curriculum that meets a range of student learning styles and needs
• Demonstrated ability to follow complex administrative systems and meet deadlines

Desirable:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent
• Experience working in a community setting
• Certificate in First Aid
• Theatre production qualification

Conditions include:

• Police Check (mandatory)
• Working with Children’s Check (mandatory)
• 3 month probation
• Salary Packaging available
