Course Description: The course aims to develop learners’ literacy and numeracy capabilities and skills for use in the workplace.

Learners are taught the most relevant terminology relating to products, processes, and communication skills while enhancing their literacy and numeracy skills.

The course will focus on 4 distinct areas:

• Contextualised workplace communication

• Contextualised literacy and numeracy

• Visual accuracy training

• Employability skills

Pathway: Employment in a factory or manufacturing environment.  Further study in Certificate I or II in Food Processing
