VCAL at Prace College

What is VCAL?

The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) is a senior secondary certificate for years 11 and 12, which is nationally recognised.

There are three levels of VCAL; Foundation, Intermediate and Senior. At Prace College we offer Foundation and Intermediate VCAL. The level that you will go into will be determined in consultation with you after your interview and according to your skill level.

There is no educational pre-requisite to enrol in VCAL at Prace College.

If you are 15-18 years old, you are eligible to enrol in our VCAL program.

Rolling enrolments: new students are welcome to join the program anytime during first, second and third terms should a place become available.

Where does VCAL take me?

When you complete your level of VCAL, you can:

  • Go up to the next level of VCAL
  • Go to TAFE to study further
  • Apprenticeship
  • Traineeship
  • Employment

You could even go back to school if you wanted to.
