Walktober is here!

Terrific news: our entire community has embraced #Walktober this year.

Our English language students are leading the charge, taking any chance they can to stretch their legs, get the blood pumping and help us to reach our goal.

We’ve walked an amazing 238 km in the first two week of this campaign. This gives us an excellent shot at reaching our 700 km goal by November!

We are tracking our combined steps and calculating our progress alongside a trans-national 700 km walk in Europe which was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I.  The walk’s concept of crossing multiple borders, experiencing different cultures and overcoming the barriers that divide us, make this a worthy and meaningful route for our community.
