Last week we announced our new ‘Learn at Home’ courses, developed in house at PRACE by five of our pre-accredited teachers.
The team undertook extensive research and development across multiple platforms to bring these courses to life.
The five week process began with the Articulate 360 E-learning Project, during which time the team explored this cloud based e-learning platform for the development of content for face-to-face and remote delivery of courses.
Articulate 360 has many features however it was not the right fit and the team moved on to learning Google sites.
A Certified Google Educator was brought in to guide them through the development of course materials including the creation of videos, written activities for the students and interactive course content.
Our five new ‘Learn at Home’ pre-accredited courses will enable students to experience the best possible learning experience both now, and into the future. Launching this term, we have:
The whole experience has given the team a greater understanding of web based content development. And, it’s an exciting step which will enable PRACE staff and students to engage with blended delivery of courses well into the future.
