PageTurners are short, easy-to-read stories for adults learning to read. Our popular books are written and illustrated by experienced teachers to suit the needs of both literacy and English language learners. The stories are often funny, sometimes irreverent, and always on topics of interest to adults.
About PageTurners
PageTurners started over 20 years ago when three English language teachers at Prace needed resources for their adult learners. Frustrated with the lack of books written for adults learning to read, they decided they would have to make their own.
Anne Dunn and Chris Malakar wrote the stories, and Moira Hanrahan illustrated them. The stories were crafted to appeal to adults, depicting situations people are likely to encounter in everyday life
Prace has published over 90 PageTurners books and you can find them in libraries in Australia, America, Canada, and New Zealand.
