Introduction to Computers (CALD)

A course for English language learners to build skills and confidence to perform a range of basic tasks on a computer.

Build your confidence using computers and gain new skills you can put into practice right away.

Join our small, friendly classes and learn about:

  • General operation and safe use of equipment
  • Basics of Word – creating/formatting/saving and printing documents
  • Microsoft 365 programs
  • Basics of Excel – entering and formatting data
  • Managing files and folders
  • Accessing and navigating the internet
  • Email basics

This program is designed for PC compatible computers. Students will work on PC computers running the Microsoft 365 operating system.
