Work with Wood

Improve your woodworking knowledge and gain new skills in this practical and creative short course.

During the course you will learn about woodworking tools and techniques from an experienced trade teacher. Classes are held in our modern, custom built workshop with plenty of space for you to work on your projects. This friendly and informal course is designed for beginners and those with basic skills who want to learn more.

  • All skill levels are welcome
  • Small class sizes with plenty of time on the tools!
  • Work on individual or groups projects

This course prepares participants for further study in the following qualifications: Cert. I in Manufacturing, Cabinet Making, Cert. I in Furnishing, Cert. III in Carpentry, Cert. II in Building & Construction Pre-apprenticeship.

    Classes will not run on public or school holidays.

    Concession: $50
    Full: $54

    Plus $10 Service & Amenities fee

    Note: Recycled timber supplied, all other timbers need to be purchased at student’s expense

    Training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

  • Prerequisites and eligibility

    16+ years with a school exit form or 17+ years.
