Child Safety Easy Read Resources Now Available

Prace is pleased to introduce Child Safety Easy Read documents, now available on both our Child Safety page, and Complaints and Appeals page.

These resources are part of our ongoing commitment to making information clear, accessible, and inclusive for everyone in our community.

What is Easy Read?

Easy Read is a communication format designed to make information easier to understand. It uses simple language, short sentences, larger text, and supportive images to explain ideas clearly.

This approach helps break down complex topics, so they are more accessible to a wider audience.

Easy Read materials support people with intellectual disabilities, those who prefer plain language, and individuals who speak English as an additional language.

Meeting the needs of our community

At Prace, we work with people from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of literacy and English proficiency. By providing key information in this format, we help ensure that more people can understand their rights, responsibilities, and the support available to them.

Supporting inclusion and access

Access to clear information is essential for participation and empowerment.

By offering Easy Read versions of important Prace policies, we are helping to remove barriers and promote inclusion and agency. These resources enable more people to engage confidently with our services and feel informed, safe, and supported.

We encourage you to explore these new Easy Read documents on our website and share them with others who may benefit.
