Computers for Beginners

Build the skills and confidence to perform a range of basic tasks on a computer.

Join Computers for Beginners and gain new skills you can put into practice right away. Learn close to home at Wallan Neighbourhood House. In this course you will learn about:

  • Computer hardware
  • Software types
  • Basic Windows 10 commands
  • Microsoft 365 programs
  • Entering and formatting data
  • Saving and filing documents
  • Internet and email basics

This course is designed for PC compatible computers. Students will work on PCs running the Windows 10 operating system.

This course prepares participants for employment, volunteer opportunities or accredited study (e.g. Certificate I or II in Information, Digital Media and Technology).

    Training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.
