Free Pads & Tampons at Merrilands Community Centre
We’re proud to share that Prace (Merrilands) is now part of the ‘Free pads and tampons in public places’ initiative, as led by the Victorian Government’s Department of Families, Fairness, and Housing.
Period products are a necessity, not a luxury!
This program helps to ensure pads and tampons are available when and where they’re needed.
Across Victoria, free vending machines are being installed in public spaces to improve access, reduce stigma, and support the health and wellbeing of our community.
We’re pleased to be contributing to this statewide effort by hosting free vending machines right here at Merrilands Community Centre. You can find them conveniently located near the toilets in both the front and back buildings, accessible to all visitors.
