Steve teachers our Introduction to Bookkeeping & MYOB course

Introduction to Bookkeeping & MYOB has been one of our most popular courses. For good reason too! Bookkeeping is a secure, well-paid and satisfying career and can often be done part-time with flexible hours. So we asked our teacher Steve to tell us a little more about himself and the course which is running in Donnybrook and Reservoir in 2023.

Steve has been teaching bookkeeping for more than 20 years and prior to that, was an actual bookkeeper for 3 years. He has taught literally thousands of people from all ages, ethnic backgrounds and levels of education how to do bookkeeping.

“I use simple English language to explain the concepts and I keep the course practical. We do a lot of practice exercises to learn how to do bookkeeping with MYOB” says Steve.

The course is designed for people who want to be able to record financial information and report financial information for small businesses and is designed for people with no knowledge of bookkeeping principles or bookkeeping practice.

“I want my students to complete the course feeling confident that they understand bookkeeping principles and they have solid skills in bookkeeping practice” he says.

MYOB is one of the most popular small business bookkeeping applications used in Australia and every business needs to keep financial records. Students who complete this course have good prospects for finding employment as a bookkeeper for a small business”.
