Visit to Greek Women’s Elderly and Friendly Club

Yesterday members of our Digital Seniors Program: Margaret, Rita, Pedro, Sandra and Maria (a PRACE staff member and wonderful Greek interpreter) joined the lovely members of the Greek Women’s Elderly and Friendly Club at Darebin Health Centre to demonstrate some of the fun that the iPad has to offer.

After Penny, the club’s president, gave the group a warm welcome, the volunteers were invited to enjoy delicious spanakopita and tiropita with the club as all explored the sights and tastes of beautiful Greece on the iPad.
