On Monday, 21st October our volunteers and community group members got down on their hands and knees to learn some very important first aid skills.
The participants were trained in how to administer CPR, basic first aid and use a defibrillator as part of the one-day course.
It was wonderful to see the mix of participants. Along with PRACE’s volunteers, a number seniors attended the session, proving that it is never too late to learn something new. And it could save a life!!
A huge thank you to Tammi and Hassan from Training College of Australia who made this vital information very entertaining and digestible for the participants.
We would also like to acknowledge that this training was funded by a Volunteer Grant from the Department of Social Services.
