Computer Essentials

Computer Essentials is designed to build your confidence using Microsoft 365 and teach you the essential skills you can practice right away.

Microsoft 365 is one of the most common home and business computer application suites and this course introduces you to its essential programs (Level 1).

You will learn:

  • Word processing skills
  • Introduction to MS PowerPoint
  • Introduction to MS Excel

This course is designed for PC compatible computers. Students will work on PCs running the Windows 10 operating system.

This course prepares participants for employment, volunteer opportunities or accredited study (e.g. Certificate I or II in Information, Digital Media and Technology).

    Study Mode

    Teacher supported learning in a classroom/computer lab.

    Classes will not run on public or school holidays.

    Training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

  • Prerequisites and eligibility

    Completion of an ‘Introduction to Computers’ program or equivalent.
