Small Business Management

Now Taking Expressions of Interest – Learn the fundamentals of small business management and prepare to launch your own small business. Complete our course enquiry form and we will notify you when our next course date is scheduled.

Are you ready to take the first steps in small business ownership? Join this friendly and supportive class where you will learn all the basics – from applying for an ABN and
registering your business name, to tax requirements and financial tools. The course also covers market research, cost analysis, business plans and marketing plans.

After completing the course, you can develop your skills further in the following Prace courses:

  • Introduction to Bookkeeping & MYOB
  • Office Administration Essentials

This course prepares participants for small business management or further education – Certificate IV in Developing and Managing your Small Business.

    Plus $10 Service & Amenities fee.

    Training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

  • Prerequisites and eligibility

    Participants must have basic computer skills including Excel, internet browsing and email. Skills in bookkeeping and MYOB would be beneficial.
