Learn about the Australian education system and develop your English, reading and writing foundation skills for employment or vocational training.

Part B – Entry to Teacher’s Aide
Learn the fundamental skills of working with school age children and prepare for the Certificate III in School Based Education Support (CHC30221).

You can undertake Part A and Part B as individual courses or complete both to attain a Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways (FSK20119).

Course Description

Part A – The Education System in Australia
Learn about the Australian education system and develop your your English, reading and writing foundation skills for employment or vocational training.

Part B – Entry to Teacher’s Aide
Learn the fundamental skills of working with school age children and prepare for the Certificate III in School Based Education Support (CHC30221).

You will learn:

  • Reading, writing, and English skills
  • Digital & computer skills
  • Learn the key aspects of the education system in Australian and be able to make informed decisions about your children’s schooling
  • Develop a plan for further study and employment
  • Learn about the role of workers who assist teachers and support students learning in a range of classroom settings

You can undertake Part A and Part B as individual courses or complete both to attain a Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways (FSK20119).

Pathway

These courses prepare participants for employment or further vocational training. In addition, Part B prepares participants for the Certificate III in School Based Education Support (CHC30221) and/or a career in the education sector.
