Visit to ‘You Turn’ in Geelong

On Friday, PRACE  staff, Lauren and Adriana, visited Diversitat’s ‘You Turn’ Project in Geelong. The facility provides a wonderful opportunity for young people to experience hands-on trades training in mechanics, spray painting, panel beating and carpentry.  VCAL and pre-accredited programs are run out of the facility.  Their Try a Trade program won a Victorian Learn Local Award for Outstanding Pathways Program in 2017.

We would like to thank Jo, the program coordinator, for giving us a great tour of the site and being so generous with her time. The visit was really informative.
