Barista for Beginners : Holiday Program


Are you aged 16-24 and would like to find a part time job?
Join our two-day course and increase your chances of finding work as a barista by gaining the essential skills employers are looking for.

During this free, two-day course you will learn how to make coffee on a commercial machine and gain practical experience by making coffee for local community members.

  • Meet like minded peers

This course is for young people aged 16-24 years who live, work or play in Mitchell Shire.

Choose from 2 free courses running in the school holidays.

Greater Beveridge Community Centre
1 Lithgow St, Beveridge
10th and 11th of July
10am – 3pm

Wallan Youth Room
42 Bentinck Street, Wallan
15th and 16th of July
10am – 3pm


Both courses are free and places are limited.

  • Kilmore Library – John Taylor room, 23rd and 24th of September. day 1 11am-4pm and day 2 10-3pm
