Cafe Connect: Customer and Workplace Skills


Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways FSK20119 (Partial Completion)

Join our hands on, entry-level program designed for young people aged 15–25 who are ready to build real-world skills for customer service and hospitality roles.

Delivered in a fun, supportive environment, this short course combines nationally recognised units with non-accredited barista training to give you practical experience in communication, teamwork, food safety, workplace safety and customer engagement—skills that employers value.


A voucher to complete your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is included in the course fee.

Entry Requirements

  • Aged 15 years and over, and not enrolled in secondary school.
  • Moderate digital literacy skills and access to digital technology.
  • English language, literacy & numeracy skills at an industry entry standard.

Pathways

All nationally recognised units completed in this course can be used as credit transfer into hospitality or retail certificates (Eg. Cert II in Hospitality). Pathways include:

  • Customer service roles
  • Café and hospitality work
  • Apprenticeships or traineeships
  • Further VET study in business, retail, or tourism
