School’s back!

Posted February 5, 2018

Last week was very busy at PRACE as our new students found their feet and continuing students returned to their studies after a long summer break.

This is what a couple of our returning English language (EAL) students had to say about studying at PRACE in 2018:

Nermeen, one of our Level 4 EAL students who arrived in Australia three years ago from Egypt, said, “More than anything, I’m excited about being back in class!” and added,  “Over the summer break above all else, I missed the many friends that I made in class at PRACE and the satisfying feeling of making progress with English.”

Another Level 4 EAL student Jiatong, originally from China, said  that she was happy to be returning to a school that  “feels like a second home.”  After leaving a large learning provider, she commented, “I was not happy studying at a big institution; I found it difficult to advance with so many students and not enough support to move ahead’.  After a friend recommended PRACE, Jiatong changed schools and she’s glad she did. “I’ve had the best learning experience of my life at PRACE. The teachers are so dedicated, I have many friends here and I am making so much progress with my English that I feel more confident that I will achieve my future goals.”

Upon completion of their Level 4 EAL at PRACE both students aim to progress to university to undertake studies in secondary teaching and accountancy.

If you are you looking for a learning provider that encourages a strong sense of community coupled with high-quality teaching, contact PRACE on 9462 6077 to find out how we can help you to reach your goals in 2018!

Jiatong and Nermeen are happy to be starting the new year at PRACE.

Both Jiantong and Nermeen put theory into practice with an interactive classroom game.

EAL Teacher Catherine starts the class off with a great theme for a new year: perseverance and never giving up!
