EAL teacher Marina opened the activity with a moving reflection, recognising the progress we’ve made as a society and prompting us to consider how we can all continue to work towards gender equality.
After this terrific introduction our students came together to match the portraits of accomplished women with their biographies. It was wonderful to see our EAL and Transition Education students eager to work together, cleverly using technology and teamwork to complete this social activity.
In the spirit of the day, students were awarded gingerbread woman for their joyful participation. We thank EAL teacher Assunta for adding this special touch to a very memorable occasion!
