Last month we met with Ros Spence MP, Labor Member for Kalkallo and Nathan Lambert MP, Labor member representing Preston and Reservoir to discuss the new Linking Youth to Foundation Training (LYFT) program.
Aimed at young people aged 15-18 who are disengaged from education but still enrolled in school, LYFT provides one-to-one support as well as vocational skill building and personal development workshops.
The program is based at Reservoir Neighbourhood House and Prace will work closely with students from Reservoir High School.
This program is funded by the Reservoir Revitalisation Board as part of the Suburban Revitalisation Program. For more information about the LFYT program, email Lia at lcaelli@prace.vic.edu.au
