At PRACE we love it when our volunteers embrace an opportunity to share their knowledge and skills with others!
Yesterday one of our volunteers, Briare, led a wonderfully informative segment on how to access library services online during one of our Technology for Seniors classes at LaTrobe Village.
Briare attended our iPad for Seniors:Train-the-Trainer course last year and now regularly volunteers as part of our Technology for Seniors program which is run within retirement villages and nursing homes throughout Darebin and Whittlesea.
We would like to thank Briare and all of our other wonderful volunteers for their commitment and dedication to supporting our adult education programs – the contribution of their time, skills, enthusiasm and good humour is greatly appreciated and makes a huge difference to both class participants and teachers alike!
